Steam, alternative Linux à Xbox App
Mis à jour le
Notre avis
Steam is a strong replacement for the gaming library management aspects of the Xbox App, but it is not a direct substitute for the entire Xbox ecosystem. It handles purchasing, downloading, updating, and launching games natively on Linux. However, it cannot access your Xbox Game Pass subscription, Xbox Live cloud saves, or Xbox achievements. If your primary use case is playing PC games you own, Steam is excellent. If you rely on Game Pass or cross-platform Xbox profile syncing, you will lose those features entirely.

Ce qui fonctionne pareil
- Digital game store with purchase history and library management
- Automatic download, installation, and update handling for games
- Cloud save synchronization for supported titles
- Social features including friends lists and chat
- Achievement tracking for supported games
Ce qui change
- No access to Xbox Game Pass or Microsoft Store content
- Cannot sync Xbox Live profiles, Gamerscore, or Xbox-specific achievements
- Lacks native Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud) integration
- Different ecosystem for mods and community content (Steam Workshop vs. Xbox Mods)
- Controller configuration uses Steam Input rather than Xbox-specific drivers
Ouvrir vos fichiers Xbox App
Steam does not open Xbox App files or libraries. Game installations are separate; you cannot import an Xbox game install into Steam. Save files are generally not compatible between the two platforms unless a game specifically supports cross-platform save migration, which is rare. You will need to re-download games from the Steam store if you own them there.

Can I play my Xbox Game Pass games on Steam?
No. Game Pass is a Microsoft service tied to the Xbox ecosystem. Steam is a separate platform and does not have access to Game Pass libraries or subscriptions.
Will my Xbox achievements transfer to Steam?
No. Achievements are platform-specific. Steam has its own achievement system that only works with games that support it. Your Xbox Gamerscore and achievements will remain on your Xbox profile and are not visible in Steam.
Can I use my Xbox controller with Steam?
Yes. Steam has built-in controller support that works with most Xbox controllers. You may need to configure the controller in Steam's settings for optimal button mapping and trigger behavior.
